From 2010-2017 Vinyard served on The Board of Directors of Houston Technology Center in Texas, which was founded in 1998 as a non-profit community organization to foster regional economic development. HTC supported start-up companies specific to Energy Technology, Life Sciences, & IT, including a NASA collaboration, & helped raise $2.8 Billion to assist 300+ start-ups.
Vinyard previously owned a software development company whose product was Globally licensed by a US Fortune 500 company, & a large US travel & transportation company. He continues to actively identify new & disruptive energy-focused technologies through an established global network.

]]>With 20 years of energy and innovation experience, Alex has worked extensively internationally as an entrepreneur, angel investor, and venture capitalist for Fortune 500 companies. His main focus has been on bringing corporations and entrepreneurs together to impact one of the world’s largest challenges – sustainable and plentiful energy access. He has been investing in energy technologies since 2001, including hydrogen, fuel cells, and energy storage. Notable roles have included involvement in the earliest H2 vehicle station in California, an international energy GameChanger, and the founding member and President at Shell Technology Ventures, LLC.
Mr. Rozenfeld has been an active supporter of the Texas energy entrepreneurship community as an energy co-chair of the Houston Angel Network, chair of the Energy Initiative at The Center for Houston’s Future, Advisory Board member of the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship, and an active adviser to many Texas energy companies. His international roles include the Advisory Board to the Energy Innovation Initiative at World Economic Forum (WEF). Mr. Rozenfeld holds a BSE magna cum laude from Princeton University and MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
